Performing Arts Lodge (PAL) Calgary
is a non profit charitable organization dedicated to providing affordable housing, care and a sense of community for disadvantaged and disabled individuals who work in or have worked in the performing arts industry with priority given to seniors. This includes not only those in front of the audience or camera, but those behind the scenes as well. Professional actors, box office, comedians, crew, dancers, designers, musicians, singers, technicians, ushers and even critics are a part of the PAL mandate. In this recessed economy, never has this goal been more necessary.

Another important aspect of PAL Calgary is Supporting Cast – a volunteer service comprised of members providing assistance in the realm of homemaking help, transportation to and from appointments, shopping, errands, and advice on other services and programs available in the community.
