YAAAA-HOOOO!!!!

It’s that time of year again and here is your FREE invite!

The Met have teamed up with Jon Lord to put on the biggest and best indoor networker/fundraiser Stampede Party downtown this year!

Every year, The Met tries to support a very worthwhile charity and 2009 is no different. This year the charity is PAL Calgary!

Pal Canada has done a great job in Toronto and Vancouver and now its Calgary’s turn! In this recessed economy, never has PAL’s goal of providing affordable housing, care and a sense of community for disadvantaged and disabled individuals who work in or have worked in the performing arts industry with priority given to seniors been more necessary.

The Stampede Hoedown is held on Parade Day ( Friday July 3rd) and the event will occur: 4:30pm until 7:30pm at:
Downtown Ranchman’s Metropolitan Centre (across from the Westin Hotel)

Print out the ticket below and bring it along, feel free to send it to your invited guests for them to print out as well.

2008

PAL Calgary was present for curtain speech fundraising for the entire run of ATP’s Half Life, April 29th through May 17th. Everyone came out and saw award winning Canadian work by playwright John Mighton and support Pal Calgary’s efforts. The production starred Grant Reddick, Shirley Broderick, Christopher Hunt, Val Planche, Kira Bradley, Kevin Rothery, and Kathryn Kerbes.

“Patrick and Clara meet in a care home and begin to fall in love.  As their adult children observe them, the older couple rediscovers beauty and love in the twilight of their lives.”

PAL Calgary extends their gratitude to ATP for this opportunity.
